The top of Half Dome

The scenery from the top of Half Dome is breathtaking. I have aspired to climb to the top for many years. Of course the Northern Face was always the goal, but I have pretty much outlived that idea, but there is a trail up the backside

Pretty much easy until that last 400 feet. 45 degrees doesn’t sound bad, but it is. They say the average person can make it to the top in about 3 hours.

There are cables and wood planks to help the trek, and when you get to the top

The views are spectacular

I look forward to climbing up to the top and doing some serious soul searching.
